Sick
We have a disturbing phenomenon in most Kuwaiti marriages in the 25-35 age group:
1. The Kuwaiti male: After complaining for almost his entire adult life that dating in Kuwait sucks because he cannot publicly go out with his loved one, once married regards dating his wife, a chore "wajeb" and makes silly excuses like "its too crowded and its too hot". News Flash: Kuwait did not change in the few months that you got married.
2. The Kuwaiti female: After years of fantasizing about love and marriage, she decides a while after getting hitched that her husband is less attractive than anyone else.
"Grass is greener on the other side" applies to more than just Kuwaiti couples, but i think its more common to see this here.
What do you think?
Are you guilty of any of the above and care to share your point of view?

not guilty!
(1) I think it's an illusion. He thinks he loves her so he complains about all the difficulties in dating her publically.
Plus, the fact that she's not "his" would make him do all the crazy things to be with her. He wouldn't miss a chance to meet with her at anytime of the day, he would always find time to see her even if it was just for a couple of mins. Why? because she's not always availabe
However, once they're married, khalas! they live together, they see each other everyday. She's "his"! and the fact that she's "always available" could make him lose interest.
(ow ma3a il routine, ma7ad lah khilg il thani)
Best thing is to give your partner his/her space. Give them time to miss you
(2) Doesn't apply
Sheba,

it's not just in Kuwait, it's all over the world.
it's just more obvious here, because this is what we're exposed to.
every culture suffers from something.. marriage works for some and doesn't work for others, it depends on many factors.
